Prenatal yoga

Join us for a six week series of prenatal classes especially crafted to allow you to connect your body and your baby. Cultivate strengthening, relaxation, and body awareness practices through gentle poses, breath work, visualization and meditation. Take this special time for yourself to explore your body, quiet your mind, and enjoy your pregnancy in a supportive environment with a community of other mothers-to-be. No previous yoga experience required and classes are suitable for all stages of pregnancy.

Vinyasa yoga connects one posture to the next using breath. This can be thought of as ‘linking’ or ‘flowing’ into postures, which is why it’s often referred to as flow yoga. Flow with breath and movement to build strength and stamina, exploring connections between poses while listening to your own beautiful rhythm. There will be an extra focus on core related movements to build strength and stability. Option to explore more intermediate poses. Open to all levels, and perfect for building your yoga practice.

Start with flowing movement to get your muscles working and free your breath before settling into Yin postures to help stretch your muscles and connective tissues. End class with a beautiful guided meditation for a whole body and mind experience.
